Conformity of electrical plant
The electrical plant is in compliance with the norms UNI EN 60204-1.
c. DEFINITION OF THE UTILIZED TERMS
We invite the user to make reference to the norm UNI EN 292 for the definitions of the utilized terms of this hand-
book. Moreover, we report the point 1.1.1., enclosure I of the Directive 89/392/CEE.
1.1.1. Definitions
Following the present Directive, we understand for:
1) "dangerous place", every place inside and/or near a machine where the presence of an exposed person is
a rescue for the security and the health of that person.
2) "exposed person", every person who finds completely or partially in a dangerous place.
3) "operator", the persons in charge to install, to let work, to carry out the maintenance, to clean, to repair
and to transport a machine.
1. PACKING
Verify the integrity of the content. The builder could not be responsible if the machines were damaged during the
transport to the user. Verify the presence of the shield with the relative details of the machine. In case of doubt, do not
use the machine and adress to the staff professionally qualified or to the retailer. The elements of the packing (ther-
moretractable) mustn't remain at the reach of the children because they could be a source of danger.
The elements of the packing should be stored and treated following the laws in force.

2. STORAGE
The pump, in case isn't immediately installed, should be taken in a dry place, sheltered from atmospheric agents and
at a temperature between 0 and 40 degrees C. The machine should be put far from heat sources, from flames and
explosive. The machine should be put in a upright position, avoiding to put on machines one above the other.
3. TRANSPORTATION AND MATERIAL HANDLING

3.1 - Dimensions of the machine

The dimensions of the electric pump with relative trolley are underlined in the picture 3.1 and in the table at page
number 4.

3.2 - Value of the machine
The mass of the electric pump "Volumex" is indicated at the paragraph b, at page number 4.
3.3 - Indications for the material handling
The electric pump should be transported with care, avoiding collisions or accidental falls which could compromise
the integrity of the machine. The electric pump is provided with wheels for little material handlings.
We recommend the use of suitable devices for the individual pretection (protection gloves against mechanical risks,
security footwear).
4. PACKAGING. ASSEMBLING, DISMANTLING AND REMOUNT
The modules of the machine have been completely assembled in the factory; so no intervention of assembly would be
necessary from the user except for the connection of the pipes for the suction and the discharge of the working liquid.

5. INSTALLATION
5.1 - Useful Advices
For a correct and safe use of the pump, make sure that the support surface is horizontal.
You always have to wash the pump before and after its utilization because the presence of other substances, such as
for example the acetones, could bring to the deformation of the materials of the machine.To make easier the speed,
we recommend before to prime. The bail which ensure the connection between the pipes and the mouth should be
installed in order not to cause carvings on the rubber and to grant a sufficient pressure on the muff.
Verify that the distance between the mouth of the rubber suction from the bottom of the tank will be respected; in any
case the suction mouth must remain 10 cm below.
