5.2 - Warnings and inspections before the installation
Before connecting the machine, be sure that the reported details on the shield are that of the motor branch circuit. The
installation should be done from qualified staff in compliance with the norms in force, following the instructions
given by us. A wrong installation can cause damages to people, things and animals, to whom the buider cannot be
considered responsible. The electrical security of this machine is reached only when it is properly connected to an
efficacious protective grounding plant, carried out as foreseen by the security norms in force. It is necessary to verify
this main security requirement, and, in case of doubt, to ask for a careful control of the plant by professional qualified
staff. Verify that the current carrying capacity of the plant is adequate to the maximum power of the apparatus indica-
ted on the shield and at point b of this handbook. Moreover, following the security norms in force, it is necessary to
foresee, at the beginning, a all-polar switch with an opening distance of the contacts major equal to 3 mm, as well as
some fusibles and one differential ground fault interrupter. The inspection and the possible installation of these elec-
trical components should be made from a person professionaly qualified. This one, particularly, should also verify
that the cable section of the plant will be suitable to the power absorbed from the apparatus. In any case, the machine
will be connected only to electrical plants which respect the norm in subject. In case of doubt always adress to quali-
fied staff. The line cord's length in equipment, when supplied as an accessory, is 3 m. It is strongly advised against
the use of adapters, sockets and/or extension cords. In case their use would be essential, it is necessary to use only
plugs, simple adapters or multiple adapters extensions in accordance with the security norms in force, though paying
attention not to exceed the limit of capacity in current value, marked on the simple adapter and on extensions, and
that of maximum power marked on the multiple adapter. Moreover it is deeply adviced against the use either of a too
long cable supply which could, getting entangled, cause dangerous overheatings, or of a too short one which can
disconnet at every movement of the machine.
6. ON LINE. TEST, CONTROL AND RUNNING.
6.1 - Allowed atmospheric conditions
The workroom of the machine should be a dry place protected from the inclemency of the weather. The work tempe-
rature of the machine is between 0 and 30 degrees C.
6.2 - Indications about the removal/elimination of the refuse material
The refuse material of the pump consists of deposits of the working liquid which leave a deposit in the pumbody
where there is the rotor in neoprene. The washing of the pump takes place pumping an adequate quantity of clean water.
6.3 - Description of the manual controls
The pictures 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3 show the controls of the machine:

6.4 Checks to do before the starting
- The main switch (see pictures 6.4) should be in zero middle position;
- Verify that the pipes for the suction lift and discharge don't show foldings or stranglings of various type which block
the regular flow of the liquid;
- For the suction of the dregs of pressed grapes (or other solid parts) let the by-pass closed (for the pumps which are
provided with).

6.5 - Test of the machine
The mechanical and hydraulic test of the machine is made on the 100% of the production before the dispatch.
6.6 - Human factors engineering
The operator should utilize the machine respecting all the common ergonomics principles.
6.7 - Running
The machine doesn't need any running.
7. STARTING
Check that the transmission-line voltage would be that expected in the electrical scheme in equipment to the pump,
then plug. (See point 5).
