Alternative installation instructions using screws/anchors from optional hardware package
Wall or ceiling sensors with mounting screws:
- Using mounting bracket as a template, mark location of holes on mounting surface.
- If using anchors: drill 3/16" holes, insert anchors and attach mounting bracket base with screws.
If not using anchors: attach mounting bracket base with screws.
- Snap mounting bracket cover to base.
Wall or ceiling sensors with spring stapes for acoustic tiles:
- Attach mounting bracket base to desired location using adhesive tape.
- Pinch legs of spring staple until parallel (PERPINDICULAR TO THE CEILING) and insert spring stape legs into the screw
holes of the mounting bracket base and through the adhesive tape and acoustic ceiling tile. Make sure the mounting base
and spring staple are pushed tight against tile.
- Snap mounting bracket cover to base.

If a sensor needs to be relocated:
- Remove sensor from bracket.
- Use 3/16" (5mm) flathead screwdriver and
insert into slots on mounting bracket to
remove bracket cover.
- Remove screws or staples.
- Gently twist mounting bracket back and
forth until adhesive pulls away from wall.
(Using a metal spatula can make removal
of bracket with adhesive tape easier.)
- Remove old adhesive tape and replace
with new adhesive tape from optional tape
kit (Style #ST02MKT051020).
- Re-install per previous instructions.
