PLACE | Curtain Sensor

Determine whether or not adhesive will work for ALL sensors in space (refer to chart on page 4).

Review installation plan and adjust placement ONLY if necessary; refer to sensor placement guidelines in training.

Install sensors in accordance with the plan, paying attention to elevation, orientation and location.

Use alcohol wipe to clean sensor mounting location; allow 15 seconds to dry.
Curtain sensor installation with pre-installed adhesive tape (for screws from optional hardware package, refer to page 11)

Flat bracket must always be to the RIGHT of the sensor to get correct angle.

Determine placement of curtain sensor:
Above door: 3" (75mm) above door frame, up to a maximum of 12' (3.65m), whichever is lower.
Centered to opening OR
Next to door, if door is floor-to-ceiling: as close as possible just to side of doorway.
If there is no wall, place on ceiling with appropriate mounting hardware.

Remove backing from adhesive strip and attach sensor/mounting bracket to surface, applying force to
mounting bracket for at least 15 seconds to ensure bonding to surface. Full bonding time is 72 hours.

When acoustic tiles are present, mount to ceiling using adhesive tape and an acoustic tile staple. (Refer to page 11.)

Align the tab on the sensor to the corresponding slot on the mounting bracket (◊) and insert sensor into the bracket
until it locks in place.
