- Place warning signs in the area around the unit.
- Wear hearing protection PPE.
- Install acoustic insulation.
There is a risk of hair or clothing getting entangled or trapped in the cooling fan through the canopy of the electrical motor that covers
the fan!
Precautions:
Do not wear loose fitting clothing, with long strings of other objects that could get entangled. Tie back long hair.

INTENDED USE

The TMD Atex 2G version of the series "K" compressors and suction pumps with a side channel are machinery for the production of
vacuum and/or overpressure and continual channelling of air or non toxic and non aggressive gases.
The TMD Atex Category 2G version of the 'Series K' compressors and suction pumps are group II equipment for use in environments
classified as Zone 1. They are designed and built in conformity with Directive ATEX 94/9/CE, in accordance with European standards
EN 1127-1, EN 13463-1, EN 13463-5.

The unit has been designed also for channelling flammable gas; the parts of the machine are sealed and the aluminium components are
impregnated to guarantee their seal. The connection between the electrical motor and the blower is protected by a mechanical double
seal, oil flushed.
Likewise the accessories and control systems connected to the unit must conform to Directive 94/9/CE and be suitable for use in zone
1, the connection and suction and delivery pipes must be made of metal or antistatic material.
