6.1 Mounting the feed rolls
NOTICE
• Ensure correct mounting of the knurled screws. Use them for drive rolls and pressure rolls. Ensure
• The feed rolls are delivered with anti-corrosive. Prior to mounting, grease the feed rolls and replace or
• Observe the groove geometry and the wire diameter.
• Use smooth feed rolls (e.g. for feeding CuSi, steel, stainless steel) only as pressure rolls.
All grooved feed rolls have two guide grooves. Should a guide groove be worn out, then the feed rolls can
be reversed once and used again.
6.1.1 Pressure rolls

1 Take protective cap (1) off moving it upward.
2 Rotate eccentric bolt (9) and take it out toward the top.
3 Open the pressure rocker (9).
4 Unscrew the toothed wheel axles (5) and remove upwards.
5 Remove the drive gears (6).
6 Remount all components in the reverse order.
