Trouble
The tape cannot be inserted.
The tape cannot be ejected.
No program recording.
No editing with other equipment.
The record button does
not function.
Playback picture is noisy.
• If there is any other problem contact service center.

Checks and adjustments
• Check to see whether the power plug is inserted into
the wall outlet.
• Check to see whether the tape has already been
inserted.
• Insert the tape with the tape window facing up. (Refer to
page 21).
• Check the power is turned on. If it is turned off, press
the POWER button, and then press the eject button.
• Check to see whether the program recording input is
properly set.
• Check to see whether the current time is properly set.
• Check to see whether the power is turned off.
• Check to see whether the
is turned on the display.
• Check to see whether proper connections are made.
• Check for reserved recording. You need to press the
power button only.
• The button cannot be pressed when the REC LOCK
switch is "ON". (If you want to enter the button place the
REC LOCK switch in the "OFF", and then press the
button.
• Press the "TRACKING" button for adjustment. If there is
no improvement, clean the head using the cleaning
tape.

Daily checks
This video is designed for use on
a consistent basis therefore,
please check the VCR condition

before use, daily.
• When there is any abnormal operation or
trouble of the VCR during daily checking,
take appropriate actions referring to
"trouble shooting" section on pages 39~41.
• If the abnormal operation or trouble
remains unresolved, pull out the power

cable, and then contact your dealer.

Turn on the VCR power
• Check to see whether there is good quality
picture on the TV monitor.
• Check to see whether the time and date
are correct.
Rewind a little of
the tape recorded
on the previous
day.
PLAY
Press the PLAY
button for playback.
• Check to see whether
there is any problem
during playback.
• Check to see whether the
recorded time and date
are properly set.
Set the TIME MODE
to "L3H".
