SUPPORT PAD - INSTALLATION AND POSITIONING
IMPORTANT! Support pad installation and positioning should
be completed with hardware adjustments, detailed on the
following pages.
Support Pad* Installation
* Basic and Premium pads with any style of hardware.

Align the ball link (A) and the ball ring (B) with the ball receiver (C).

Loosely engage the screws (D) and the safety washers (E) with the
ball receiver (C).

Continue with SUPPORT PAD POSITIONING below.
Support Pad Positioning
Note: Premium BodiLink head support pades have a preformed
curvature for optimal posterior contact, and 10 - 18" W pads have 2
points of adjustment for additional lateral support.

Loosen all the hardware adjustment point screws allowing for
the full articulation of the head support to a desired position.
Loosening the screws (A) around the ring (B) will allow pad
orientation adjustment.
Note: Premium BodiLink head support pads are designed to be
used in any orientation, including flipped 180º, as shown.

PREMIUM PADS: To access the wing adjustment screws (C) on
the 10" - 18"W pads, partially unzip the locking zippers under
the cover flaps. The screw heads are accessible in the channels.
Ensure the gear teeth are properly aligned before the final
tightening.
BASIC PADS: Mold the pad by bending with hands or over a
firm surface. (Basic pads are not shown.)
WARNING: If the screws (A) are are not evenly tightened all
around the ring (B), unwanted movement may occur.
WARNING: Make sure that the teeth on all link joints are
properly aligned and engaged before final tightening. Failing to do
so could cause wear on the teeth, leading to parts slipping out of
adjustment or hardware failure. (GT Hardware only)
