INSTALLATION - PERMOBIL B MOUNTING BLOCK

For Permobil Corpus Back Support (20" height) using the Permobil B
Mounting Block.

If the head support hardware stem is inserted in the mounting block (B), turn the knob (A) counterclockwise to release it. Remove
the hardware stem; set aside.

Using the 5mm hex key, loosen the screws (C) to release the washers (D), and the double nuts (F) from the mounting bracket (E).

Move the back support cover (not shown) allowing access from both sides to the head support holes on the back support shell (G).

Align the mounting bracket (E) with the head support holes on the back support shell (G) and the double nuts (F).

Replace the screws (C) and the washers (D) and tighten.

Replace and secure the back support cover.

Insert the hardware stem into the mounting block (B) and turn the knob (A) clockwise to secure.
IMPORTANT! Make sure that at least ½" of the hardware stem is completely through the bottom of mounting block (B) at all
times. See the warning in the "Important Safety Information" section in this manual.
Note: See SUPPORT PAD installation, positioning and adjustment instructions in this manual to make final adjustments.

Alternate options when using Permobil B Mounting Block.
1
Remove the screws (G) and the washers (H) on the mounting
block (B).
2
Align the mounting block (B) with the alternate holes on the
mounting bracket (E).
3
Replace the screws (G) and the washers (H) and tighten.

Standard and Alternate Mounting Block Placement on the Mounting Bracket
Note: If needed, an additional Corpus Seating System accessory
rail can be attached to the inner face of the mounting bracket
using the countersunk holes on the mounting bracket. Access
the countersunk holes using the instructions to the left. Refer
to the instructions provided with the accessory rail for proper
attachment and use.
