INSTALLATION - POSTERIOR MOUNTING BLOCK
For Acta-Back, Acta-Back Deep, Acta-Back Contour, Acta-Back
LTS, Acta-Embrace, Acta-Embrace LTS and Visco Back.
Note: Use of the spacer plate (E) is optional. If the spacer plate is
not used, replace screws (C) with the provided shorter screws*.
*M6 X 1 X 10mm socket head cap screws

If the head support hardware stem is inserted in the
mounting block (B), turn the knob (A) counterclockwise to
release it. Remove the hardware stem; set aside.

Using the 5mm hex key, loosen the screws (C) to release the
washers (D), the spacer plate (E), and the double nuts (F)
from the mounting block (B).

Move the back support cover (not shown) allowing access
from both sides to the head support holes on the back

Align the mounting block (B) and the spacer plate (E) with
the desired set of holes on the back support shell (G) and the

Replace the screws (C) and the washers (D) and tighten.

Replace and secure the back support cover.

Insert the hardware stem into the mounting block (B) and
turn the knob (A) clockwise to secure.
IMPORTANT! Make sure that at least ½" of the hardware
stem is completely through the bottom of mounting block (B) at
all times. See the warning in the "Important Safety Information"
section in this manual.
Note: See SUPPORT PAD installation, positioning and adjustment
instructions in this manual to make final adjustments.
For Radius Back or other OEM Back Supports utilizing T-nut Head
Support mounting.

If the head support hardware stem is inserted in the
mounting block (B), turn the knob (A) counterclockwise to
release it. Remove the hardware stem; set aside.

Align the mounting block (B) and the spacer plate (E) with
the T-nuts on the back support (H). Note: The Radius Back
requires creating holes in the back support cover at the T-nut
locations for attaching the mounting hardware.
3 Fasten with screws (J) and washers (D).

Insert the hardware stem into the mounting block (B) and
turn the knob (A) clockwise to secure.
IMPORTANT! Make sure that at least ½" of the hardware
stem is completely through the bottom of mounting block (B) at
all times. See the warning in the "Important Safety Information"
section in this manual.
