The boiler has already been factory adjusted by the manufacturer.
For LPG gas: the boiler has been regulated in I3B/P category
(G30). If you need to regulate in I3+ or I3P categories (G31) exclude
pressure regulator.
If a new adjustment is required, for example, after extraordinary
maintenance, replacing the gas valve or converting from natural
gas to LPG, proceed as follows.
Maximum power, minimum DHW and maximum heating must
be adjusted in the indicated sequence by qualified staff.
MAXIMUM POWER ADJUSTMENT
- Fully open a hot water tap and drain the storage boiler.
- On the control panel:
- move the mode selector to
- turn the domestic hot water temperature selector to maximum
- Loosen the pressure tube screw downline from the gas valve by
about two turns and connect the pressure gauge to it
- Power the boiler by moving the general switch to "on"
- Check that the pressure on the pressure gauge is stable, or
connect a precision ammeter in series to a wire of the modulator,
making sure that the maximum available current is fed to the
modulator (120 mA for G20 and 165 mA for LPG)
- Disconnect the compensation inlet from the air distribution box
(B.S.I.)
- Carefully prise out the cap protecting the adjustment screws
with a screwdriver
