tion.
1.
As soon as you have unpacked the device, check it for visible damages or
defects. In particular, check for cracks in the plastic housing, which could
expose electrical components.
2.
Check for accessories integrity.
3.
Before using the device, proceed with the cleaning operations as descri-
bed in the "CLEANING AND DISINFECTION OF THE ACCESSORIES" section.
4.
Open the nebulizer (pic. A/10) by turning the top in an anticlockwise direc-
tion (pic. B).
5.
Make sure the blue water conduction cone is properly fitted onto the air
conduction cone inside the nebulizer (pic. C).
6.
Put the prescribed quantity of medication into the nebulizer (pic. D).
7.
Gently twist the top and bottom sections together to assemble the nebuli-
zer. Be sure the two sections fit securely.
8.
Connect one end of the air tubing to the nebulizer (pic. E), and the other
end to the air outlet on the device (pic. A/4).
9.
Connect the mouthpiece (pic. F) onto the nebulizer.
10.
If you need to use the mask (pic. A/13), connect the mask directly onto the
nebulizer (pic. G).
11.
Plug the device into the wall socket, making sure the electrical rating
shown on the rating plate on the bottom of the unit corresponds to your
main voltage.
12.
To start the treatment, switch the device on by pressing the ON/OFF switch
(pic. A/3) onto the "I" position.
ATTENTION: this device is for intermittent use: 30 min. ON/30 min. OFF.
13.
Inhale the aerosol solution using the prescribed accessory.
14.
When the treatment has been completed, switch the unit off by setting the
switch position "O" and disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
15.
Wash the nebulizer and accessories as described in the "CLEANING AND DI-
SINFECTION OF THE ACCESSORIES" section.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING OF THE MAIN UNIT
Use a clean dry cloth and mild detergents for cleaning the unit.
ATTENTION: during cleaning operations, make sure the internal parts of
the unit are not in contact with liquids and the power cord is not connected.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION OF THE ACCESSORIES
After each treatment:
The nebulizer and mouthpiece must be disinfected by boiling with water (max.
10 minutes) or in autoclave (max. 121°C). We suggest you disinfect the mask
using cold disinfecting liquids (solutions with hypochlorite). Dry the nebulizer
using a clean cloth; after connect it to the air outlet (pic. A/4), switch the device
on and let it work freely for 10-15 minutes.
Do not boil nor autoclave the air tubing and the mask.
Following carefully the cleaning and disinfecting instructions is very
important for the product performance and for a successful therapy.
REPLACEMENT OF THE NEBULIZER
The nebulizer must be replaced after a long period of inactivity, or when it is
obstructed by dry medication, dust, etc.
Your nebulizer should last from 6 months to 1 year with general use.
Use original NEBULBABY nebulizer only.
REPLACEMENT OF THE FILTER
The filter must be replaced approximately after 30 hours of use, or when it turns
dirty; open the filter holder (pic. A/5) to replace the filter (pic. A/14) with a new
one. Use original filters only.
Do not use the device without filter.
