machinery (see reverse side for type and serial no.) that
the following fundamental requirements of the Directive
2006/42/EC are applied and fulfilled in accordance with
Annex I: 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.5, 1.2.1, 1.2.2, 1.3.7, 1.3.8.1, 1.5.1,
1.5.4, and 1.6.1. Technical documentation was generated
for the partly completed machinery in accordance with

Screws of quality grad 8.8 must be used. The starting tor-
que for the holding down bolt is maximum 12Nm.

The Poly-V belt transmits the power of the 3-Phase brake-
motor to the drive shaft which then drives the spindle
through a polygon. The combination of the changeable
pulleys determines the spindle speed. The total stroke is
comprised of the 30 mm rapid advance (pneumatic) and
the 5 to 20 mm adjustable working stroke. The feed rate
of the working stroke depends on the spindle speed and
the pitch of the screw.
Sequence of one Cycle
The start signal activates the pneumatic rapid advance
stroke. At the end of this stroke, the proximity switch (II) is
activated which then energizes the motor. Then, the ad-
justable working stroke is activated and its travel is limited
by the proximity switch (III). The signal of this switch caus-
es the motor to change direction of rotation. Now retract-
ing, the proximity swich (II) is activated again and, after a
0,5 to 1 second time delay, stops the motor and activates
the rapid retract stroke. The home position (referenz) is
indicated by proximity switch (I) which allows to start the
