29.0 TRACTOR GAUGE

The imprint left on the ground by the wheels of the tractor, as well as having a compacting effect, also
usually lowers the surface of the ground. Keep a transplanting distance of not less than 10-12 cm
from the imprint (fig. 22) by adjusting the inter-row spacing or the gauge of the tractor.

30.0 SAFETY AUTOMATIC DISENGAGING DEVICE

The safety automatic disengaging device (fig. 23) avoids dangerous overloads on transplant unit moving
parts.
When supplied, it is already calibrated. Anyway the set values can be changed by turning the ring nut B.
Clockwise turning = – sensitive
Anti-clockwise turning = + sensitive

31.0 ACCESSORIES

31.1 ROW MARKERS
Assemble as shown (fig. 24) and adjust the point or the disk to the desired distance (fig. 24A).
The lifting can be manual or hydraulic. Carry out these operations with the machine off and make sure that
no people or obstacles are within the working area.
When this tool is assembled on the machine, the overall dimensions are bigger, therefore pay greater
attention when driving. In case of road circulation, disassemble or lock the tool.
31.2 INTRA-PLOUGHSHARE WATERING DEVICE
It allows localised spreading on each plant of a small adjustable dose of water.(Supplied with special
instructions).
31.3 300-LITER-WATER TANK
Applicable to the frame three-point-linkage. When working on more than 4 rows, it is advisable to use
higher capacity tanks.
31.4 EXTRA TRAY HOLDER KIT
It allows to use two swivelling tray holders on each transplanting unit, only for inter-row-distances greater
than 90 cm.
Fit as shown in (fig. 25) and pay attention to the increased lateral dimensions.
31.5 DISTRIBUTOR EXTENSION (fig. 26A)
Recommended for transplanting plants with very long leaves (13-20 cm approx.). Facilitates discharge of
the plant and reduces the risk of blockages caused by plants failing to descend from the distributor
immediately.
Fit as shown in (fig. 26).
31.6 SETTLING SKID (fig. 27A)
If assembled together with the settling wheels (fig. 27B), it allows transplanting also on very loose or dry
soils.
31.7 IRRIGATION-HOSE LAYING-DEVICE
By mounting the reel onto the special support, it allows you to lay the irrigation hose right in the middle of
the two paired rows.
31.8 DISKS BEFORE THE FURROW-OPENING PLOUGHSHARE
They allow to operate also with previous crop residues, thus avoiding obstructions before the ploughshare.
31.9 VOLUMETRIC FERTILIZER SPREADER
It allows local in-line-distribution of granular fertilizer (supplied with special instructions).
31.10 MICROGRANULATOR
It allows localised in-line-distribution of granular insecticide (supplied with special instructions).
31.11 SINCROMICRO
Microgranulator for granular insecticide for localised distribution either in line or on each plant (supplied
with special instructions).
