Faults / Solutions

Here below you can find some causes and the possible solutions for some problems that could cause a failure to start or a bad working
of the burner.
In most cases, an operation irregularity leads to the lighting up of the signal inside the reset button of the control box 4) (Fig. 3).
When lock out lamp lights the burner will attempt to light only after pushing the reset button. After this if the burner functions correctly,
the lockout can be attributed to a temporary fault.
If however the lock out continues, the cause must be determined and the remedies shown in the following table adopted.

10.1 Start-up problems

FAULTS
The burner does not start
when the limit thermostat
closes.
The burner goes into
safety lockout before or
during the pre-purging.
Burner runs normally in
the pre-purging and igni-
tion cycle and locks out
after 5 seconds ca.
Yellow flame.

Faults / Solutions
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Lack of electrical supply.
Faulty enabling switch thermostats.
The connections in the control box are wrongly
inserted.
The flame detector sees false light.
The flame detector is dirty.
The flame detector is defective.
Flame moves away or fails.
Nozzle dirty or worn.
Defect in the air output.
Pump pressure is not correctly set.
Air suction inlet is clogged.
Obstruction in the exhaust circuit.
The ignition electrodes are wrongly positioned.
Air output is too high.
Nozzle dirty or worn.
SOLUTION
Check for voltage at L1-N terminals in 7-pin plug.
Check the conditions of the fuses.
Check that safety thermostat is not lock out.
replace them.
Check and connect completely all the
plugs.
Check the presence of the bridge socket "P".
Eliminate the light.
Clean it.
Replace it.
Check pressure and output of the fuel.
Check air output.
Change nozzle.
Check the coil of the 1st stage solenoid valve.
Replace it.
Adjust the air output.
Verify the pressure and the output of the fuel and
adjust them according to the instructions of this
manual.
Clean it.
