– Travel speed too high for
mowing height
– Engagement not enabled
– Cutter deck not parallel with the ground
– Blades not cutting properly
– Travel speed too high for
mowing height and lawn condition
– Blades not balanced
– Loose screws
COLLISION WITH A STONE OR OTHER OBSTACLE
– Stop the machine.
– Switch off the engine, lift up the lawnmower and check that the blade fixing screws have not been sheared if
so, replace them (fig. 21). Check that the blade is not bent out of shape and replace it if necessary.
IMPORTANT
To move the machine with the engine off, operate the lever fig. 9.
MECHANICAL PARKING BRAKE
It is important to keep the cable properly adjusted (item H, fig. 15) when disengaged, the lever must be free and
in the zero position. To engage the brake, move the lever n°7 fig. 1 to the "P" position.
THE MACHINE "CREEPS" WHEN PARKED
Adjust the flow of oil in the hydraulic motor using the register (fig. 16). This must be done with the motor cold.
ELECTRICS
The electrical system is protected by fuses which cut out the entire system if tripped. The fuses are located inside
the bodywork close to the seat (fig. 17).
Replace the blown fuse with another of the same rating.
Never replace a fuse with one of different rating.
If the problems persist after the above procedures have been carried out, contact your Authorised Service Centre.
Never attempt to carry out complex repairs if you do not have the necessary equipment and technical skills.
FINISHING WORK
When you finish mowing disengage the blades, to stop, take your foot off the pedal (fig.1 n.1). Set the throttle lever
on idling speed and turn off the engine by turning the key (fig. 1 n. 5) to STOP. Engage the parking brake and always
turn off the petrol tap (fig. 6/A).
CAUSE
Engine revs fall during mowing
When the blades are engaged, the engine cuts out
Uneven cutting and poor pick-up
Vibration while working
PROBLEM
– Decrease speed
– Raise the deck a few settings
– Check the blade engagement microswitch
– Operator sitting in the driving seat;
– The lifting pedal can be used.
– Check tyre pressures
– Adjust the deck until parallel
– Check that blades are fitted correctly
– Sharpen or replace blades
– Adjust the tension of the PTO belt
– If possible cut grass with lawn dry
– Reduce travel speed
– Balance the blades or replace if
damaged
– Check and tighten the blade, engine and
chassis fixing screws
