Caution
CompoSeal Universal is a laboratory apparatus. Do not seal any
tubings still connected to the patient.
Caution
Never attempt to pull the tubing apart during the sealing process. This
would result in:
– spillage of the tubing contents
– temporary failure of the sealing function or
– a hazard to the operator.
Caution
Do not touch the electrodes during the sealing process.
Caution
Never place electrically conductive material between the sealing
electrodes/heads.
Caution
Never allow the CompoSeal Universal or the hand sealer including the
exchangeable cable to come in direct contact with liquids. Liquids could
damage the electronics of these devices or could cause a malfunction.
Never immerse these devices.
Caution
Do not use your own coaxial extension cables. This could result in
severe malfunctions.
Caution
As maloperation or technical defects may lead to leaking seals, the user
(operator) is obliged to check every seal for tightness.
Caution
Risk of injury caused by electrical voltage.
If the power cable needs to be replaced, use only the original power
cable listed in the spare parts catalog.
