FINAL INSTALLATION
5. Locate BLACK and WHITE wires in switch
housing labeled FOR LIGHT and remove
cardboard label and plastic that hold these wires
together.
Connect WHITE wire from switch housing to
WHITE wire from light kit fitter (D). Connect
BLACK wire from switch housing to BLACK wire
from light kit fitter (D). Make sure that molex
connections are secure. (Fig. 5)
6. Align holes at top of light kit fitter (D) with holes in
switch housing. [Note: Slot at top of light kit fitter (D)
should align with reverse switch in switch housing
for correct fit.] Re-insert screws that were removed
in Step 4. Use a Phillips screwdriver to secure all
screws. (Fig. 6)
7. Install three candelabra base 40 watt max.
bulbs (I) included. (Fig. 7)
Important: When you need to replace bulbs,
please allow bulbs and light kit to cool down
before touching the bulbs or the light kit.
Note: This fan is equipped with a wattage
limiting device. Therefore, using a light kit other
than the one provided may cause the light kit to
fail.
