3.11 Analysis and Adjustment
1.Check if rear wheel thrust angle is out of tolerance or not(tolerance range ±0.25°), if so, please adjust toe of rear
wheel.
2.Check if inclination and caster of Kingpin is out of tolerance or exceed central value 0.5°,If so, please check if
chassis is out of shape. If Inclination is out of tolerance, change the part. Caster out of tolerance can not be
adjusted, it need correct and reshape, or it will be off tracking and affect the return ability of steering wheel.
3.Check if camber is out of tolerance(exceed central value 0.5°), if so, Adjust it. Or it will be off tracking and wear
tires.
4.check if Toe is out of tolerance(exceeding central value 0.3°) If so, Adjust it. 90% tires worn is caused by Toe out
of tolerance.
5.Ajust all angles to standard range step by step.
6.Before four wheel alignment, wholly check the state of the vehicle, including tires wear and deflection, wheel
deformation, chassis suspension deformation, hanging height difference, uneven tire pressure, vehicle weight etc,.
After these problems are solved, Fourwheel alignment can start.
