4. Notes on these Operating Instructions

Please read these operating
instructions carefully and

as well as the accompanying
notes on safety. Use these oper-
ating instructions to familiarise
yourself with how to operate
and control your lawnmower, its
proper use, and the notes on
safety.

5. Proper Use

The Lawn Trimmer is designed
for trimming / cutting lawns
and areas of grass in domestic
gardens and allotments and is
not intended for commercial use,
for use in public places, parks,
sports grounds, next to roads,
in agriculture or forestry.

7. Putting into operation

Inspect the equipment each time
before you use it. Do not use
the equipment if safety devices
(switch handle, safety covers)

operating instructions to use
this unit.
Local regulations may specify
a minimum age for users of this
type of gardening equipment.
Adherence to the instructions for
use enclosed by Brill is a pre-
condition for the proper use of
the equipment. The instructions
for use also include the operat-
ing, care and maintenance
instructions.
Warning! Due to the risk

of injury, the unit must
your Lawn Trimmer for the first
time. There is a guide rail on the
left and right of the lower part
of the motor housing (item 7).
Push the protective cover onto
the guide rails from the back
until the hooks of the protective
cover clip into place.
Caution! Pay attention to

the cutting blade / line
limiter when fitting the protective
cover.
Risk of injury!

disable safety devices.
Remember that the user or
operator is responsible for all
