INDICATIONS FOR USE

Post-operative/post-injury ROM control or immobilization.
Ligament and fracture-related surgeries and when controlled range of
motion is necessary.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
None known.

INTENDED USE

The Formfit
Post-Op Knee is intended to be used for knee
®
immobilization and range of motion restriction.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Do not use for multiple patients. Only use the device for
a single patient.
CAUTION: If you experience increased pain, swelling, sensation changes
or any adverse reactions while using this product, immediately consult
your medical professional.
USA Only: Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of
a licensed health care practitioner.
USING THE BRACE
Size Selection
Measure the thigh circumference 6"/ 15 cm above the mid patella.
Select a size that agrees with the measurement. Refer to the "Sizes" chart
in the section "Product Description" to find the correct size.
DONNING THE BRACE
WARNING: Make sure to keep the leg straight when you slide the foam
pads and straps under it.
1. Unfasten the leg straps.
2. Fully pull the open ends of the straps through the double D rings to
remove them from the left strut.
3. Remove the foam pads from the two struts.
4. Fully open the foam pads.
5. Carefully slide the foam pads under the thigh and calf (Figure 3).
6. Fasten the foam pads around the leg in the correct sequence.
Cool foam: figure 4a. Full foam: figure 4b.
7. Put the struts on each side of the leg.
8. Align the top of the hinge pivot with the top of the patella (Figure 5).
9. Align the foam pads with the hook and loop fasteners on the inner
surface of the struts.
10. Attach the struts to the foam pads on each side of the leg.
11. Carefully slide the straps under the foam wraps.
12. Put the straps back through the double D rings.
13. Pull and fasten the straps around the foam pads in the
correct sequence.
Cool foam: figure 6a. Full foam: figure 6b.
CAUTION: Do not tighten the straps too much. If the straps are too
tight, the blood circulation can be cut off.
