PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The OP4 Knee is a monocentric knee joint with a stable aluminium frame construction and a brake. It is used by
moderately active users, mobility 2 + (3), and is approved for a maximum body weight of 100 kg. The swing phase
is reliably controlled by the powerful pneumatic system. This enables users with reduced muscle activity to benefit
from this control.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
The OP4 Knee is designed for patients with transfemoral and knee disarticulation amputation.
CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR USE

ADJUSTMENT
The knee joint OP4 Knee is delivered in full working order in the factory setting.
Carefully start to test the function of the joint with the user at the dynamic trial fitting and check whether this
setting suits the user's needs. If not, please go through the following steps.
Stance phase stability
Adjusting the load regulating screw L (13)
The load regulating screw L (13) is for adjusting the brake under load i.e. as weight is exerted. Use a 5 mm
hexagonal key for adjustment.
When setting up the joint individually with fine adjustments turn the screw in small steps of not more than about
¼ of a turn each time. Check the result.
Brake effect inadequate
• Turn the load regulating screw L (13) to the left
• The brake responds at a lower load
