You can also enable the lullabies on the camera whose image is shown on the monitor
by pressing the
icon on the main screen. This icon will appear, accompanied by
the number of the lullaby selected or a red cross if the function has been disabled.
5.2.5. VOX MODE
This mode lets you control the sound activation of your baby monitor by sound. If you
enable the VOX mode on the monitor and there is no sound around the camera, the latter
will stop transmitting. However, it will keep picking up the sounds using a minimum amount
of power. The monitor screen will go off if the camera is not transmitting. When the camera
detects any sound higher than the sensitivity setting, it will start transmitting the signal to
the monitor again.
To disable this function and see the monitored area continuously, you must disable the VOX
mode on the monitor.
· VOX mode disabled: The camera transmits continuously, allowing it to constantly monitor
your baby or the area you wish to monitor
· VOX mode enabled: The camera only transmits when a sound is detected with sufficient
intensity - depending on the level selected - around the camera.
Sound sensitivity
Some babies are noisier than others! You can personalise the sensitivity of your baby
monitor to adjust it to your baby. Adjust the "High" sensitivity for a baby sleeping soundly
with faint crying; adjust to "Low" sensitivity if the baby usually makes noise whilst sleeping
or makes very loud noises before actually crying; or adjust to a "Mid" level if you think that
your baby's behaviour does not fit in with any of the aforementioned two models.
Press the menu button on your monitor to access the main menu and on the
icon
and select the camera you desire. You may later enable or disable the function as well as
selecting the camera sensitivity level; in other words, the sound threshold from which the
camera will start transmitting.
You can also control this function from the mains screen. Press the
icon and this will
appear accompanied by the sensitivity level (LO, ME, HI) or a red cross to disable the VOX
function. Any modifications made directly on the main screen will solely affect the camera
which is capturing the images shown.
If you wish to see your baby at a certain time, even if there is no noise about, touch
the screen and the image will be reactivated.
5.2.6. MOVEMENT DETECTION
If you enable the Movement Detection mode on the monitor and there is no movement
around the camera, the latter will stop transmitting and will seem to be off. The monitor
screen will go off when the camera is not transmitting.
To disable this function and see the monitored area continuously, you must disable the MD
mode on the monitor.
MD mode disabled: The camera transmits continuously, allowing it to constantly monitor
your baby or the area you wish to protect.
MD mode enabled: The camera only transmits when movement of sufficient intensity is
detected - depending on the level selected - around the camera.
