valves and spout.
10. Cut Holes for the Valves and Spout
Determine and mark the location for the mixing valve, shower, and bath spout holes on the back
surface of the surround wall.
Protect the bottom of the unit with a clean drop cloth.
Drill 1/4" (6 mm) pilot holes at the marked locations.
IMPORTANT! If using a round hole saw or a saw that cuts on the push stroke to cut the holes, cut the
holes from the front, or finished side of the wall. If using a jigsaw or other reciprocating saw that cuts on
the pull stroke, cut the holes from the rear of the wall.
Carefully cut the fixture holes.
Clean any debris from the whirlpool to reduce the risk of surface damage. Be careful not to scratch
the surface of the unit.
