To ensure correct use of the appliance, the fol-
lowing rules should be adopted.
Important
Use only the accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
– Do not use the plate for cooking food directly
without a pan.
– Only use the appliance to heat pans.
– Always use gloves when handling cookware to
avoid the risk of burning.
– Never place pans too close together and do
not allow them to touch.
Important
Place the bottom of the pot at the centre of
the inductor and make sure that it does not
touch the metal edge of the top.
– To save energy, use thick-base, fl at pans with a
base slightly larger than the plate itself.
– The ideal thickness for the pan bottom is 2÷3
mm for enamelled steel, and 4÷6 mm for stain-
less steel with sandwich bottoms.
– The bottom of the pan should be slightly con-
cave when cold so that it maximises contact
with the cooking surface when it is hot.
– Never place anything between the pan bot-
tom and the cooking zone.
– Never place anything in the cooking zone, and
especially not metal items (cutlery, watches,
etc) or items which may be demagnetised
(credit cards, bank cards, etc.).

INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS FOR USE
– To avoid scratching the hob surface, we recom-
mend using smooth, fl at-bottomed cookware.
– Always keep the appliance and the surround-
ing areas clean.
– Remove fat residues immediately with a damp
cloth to avoid corrosion on the plates.
– Before cooking foods with high sugar content
(such as jam) a protective product must be ap-
plied to the cooking surface to prevent dam-
age if the pan boils over.
– When cleaning, use only food-approved deter-
gents.
Important
The maximum weight per zone is 20 kg.
Caution - Warning
In case of a breakage of the ceramic hob,
switch the appliance off , disconnect the elec-
tricity supply and contact the after-sales ser-
vice.
– Do not allow steam or damp air to enter the in-
take ducts and take care not to obstruct them.
– Do not leave powdered foods (fl our, sugar, salt,
etc.) or materials inside the compartment.
