5.3. Changing the battery pack
To change the battery pack remove the 4 screws (7) that attach it to the main body of the ventilation unit.
6. STORAGE, CONSERVATION AND TRANSPORT
The materials used have excellent anti‐ageing characteristics, and therefore one does not need to take any special
precaution in the conservation of the device, however it is advisable to keep the respirators in their original
packaging in well ventilated warehouses, away from chemical vapours and from any heat source, within a
temperature range of ‐20 °C and + 50 °C and in less than 80% humidity (refer to the pictograms shown on the sales
package, on the TURBINE 170 and at the end of these instructions).
The devices, stored in their original packaging, do not require any particular care during transport, however it is
advisable to observe the general guidelines already outlined for storage.
7. TECHNICAL DETAILS
TURBINE 170 ventilation unit
‐ Air flow rate with different types of filters: 130 l/min; 170 l/min
The air flow rate is stabilised by an anemometric device (wind gauge) which regulates the speed of the ventilator
independently from the battery's residual tension, thus optimising the duration.
‐ Recommended functioning temperature: between ‐20°C and +50°C with U.r. < 80%
‐ Duration: about 9 hours with a flow rate of 170 l/min and anti‐dust filters, and around 7 hours with a flow rate of
130 l/min and combined filters
