USERʼS INSTRUCTIONS INSTRUCTIONS DʼUTILISATION ISTRUZIO

SUN GUARD
# The sun guard must be periodically cleaned and controlled. The presence of dirt and/or bad scratches on
the surface may cause unusual light reflections or deviations that may jeopardize safety during riding.
Immediately replace the visor if there are such problems.
Operation - see fig. 9
# The sun guard is operated by pressing the ergonomic button on the upper part of the shell. Avoid handling
the sun guard from other parts so it is not accidentally damaged (scratches) and the visual field does not get
dirty.
Opening sun guard (1): push (X) the button (A) on the upper part of the shell and lower the sun guard.
Closing sun guard (2): push (X) the button (A) on the upper part of the shell and lift the sun guard.
The movement must always be completed up to the completely open and close positions.
Removal - see fig. 9A
Lift the chin guard until it is completely open.
Follow instructions above to lift or lower sun guard (A). When sun guard (A) is completely lowered, grab it from
the central part and pull (Y) slightly down. Automatically the sun guard is released from its lock; remove the
sun guard by sliding it down the guides.
Fitting the visor: - see fig. 9B
# To assure the proper operation of the sun guard operation system, before fitting in the part, verify that all
the parts are perfectly clean.
Position (X) the sun guard (A) on the guides (B) on the shell. Centre the guard and hold the ergonomic button
with hand. This blocks the internal moving mechanism.
Only after verifying that the sun guard guides (C) are perfectly inside the guides (B) on the shell, insert (Y)
the sun guard so that the seat (D) created on the sun guard locks into the seat (E) of the movement rack
(always holding down button).
Only after verifying that the sun guard works correctly, that it is correctly positioned and blocked inside the
guides, the helmet can be used.
# If this doesnʼt happen and the sun guard does not operate correctly, do not use the helmet and contact
Suomy authorized personnel only.
