BABY FOOD
Food safety is crucial when preparing foods for baby. Be sure all your foods are handled with
utmost care to not cross contaminate items. Completely clean all products before use. When
using water at any stage, be sure to use purified water, as tap water is full of contaminants,
such as chlorine, lead, and mercury – which can all negatively impact your growing child.
Puree Vegetables
For baby food you may use any vegetable that is age appropriate for the child. To cook veg-
etables place in the bottom of the interior pot with at least 1 cup of liquid. Water can be sub-
stituted with any type of organic juice.
Chicken with Yellow Squash and Carrots
1 Skinless and boneless chicken thigh cut in small pieces
1 Cup yellow squash, chopped
1 Cup carrots, chopped
1 Cup of pure apple juice
DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine all ingredients into the bottom of the interior pot.
Close lid and lock setting Pressure Release Valve to the "down pressure" position. Turn the
pressure control to "Medium"- Press the "Baby Food" function button and then press start.
When the content is finished the cooker will shut off automatically and go into a warming mode
– four dashes will appear on the front panel (----). Release the pressure and when the release
valve drops it is safe to open the cooker.
2. Remove contents and use the remaining liquid to puree the mixture into the desired texture.
