THE ORDER FOR DISASSEMBLED IS AS FOLLOWS
EN
1. Disconnect the air supply from the air motor by releasing quick
disconnect. This will ensure that no air remains in the air motor.
2. Carefully remove the outlet connection from the pump, ensuring
that the pipe work has no residual pressure.
3. Remove the guard from the air motor (66, 67) (fig. 8).
4. Disconnect the foot valve (inlet) from the inlet connection, or lift the
pump out of the container.
5. Remove the spring clip which passes through the air motor piston rod (53).
Lift the coupling cover (76) and remove the couplings (77).
Allow the coupling cover to rest on top of the pump packing rod (1)
until it is convenient to remove it (fig. 10).
6. While supporting the pump remove the spring (68) from the locking
ring (69).
The following operations are usually considered easier with the pump
laid down horizontally, either on a table or on the floor.

If the pump is to be cleaned with hot water either before dismantling or
during dismantling, please note that the expansion of the stainless steel
due to the heat can cause the pump to jam together. DO NOT TRY TO
FORCE THE PUMP APART.
7. Remove the clamp ring (79) between the gland nut (74) and the
outlet body assembly (82).
8. Carefully pull the gland nut (74) from the outlet body assembly.
Ensure that the packing rod (81) is not allowed to strike the outlet
body assembly or any other hard surface as damage to the outside
of this item will lead to leakage. If the packing rod moves with the
gland nut, carefully push the packing rod through the gland nut so
that the gland nut becomes free.
9. Remove the U-seal (75), the seal (80) and the two slydrings (73)
from the gland nut (74).
