12. Never block the air outlets on this product. DO NOT places the unit on a soft surface such as a
bed or couch, where the air outlets may become obstructed. Keep the air outlets free from lint, hair,
and other obstructive particles.
13. Never drop or insert any object into any opening on the unit or into the tubing.
14. When disposing the unit because of damage or failure, you must comply with the regulations of
your particular region or country for disposing of such equipment.
15. No modification of this equipment is allowed. If this equipment is modified, appropriate inspection
and testing must be conducted to ensure continued safe use of the equipment.
16. Do not leave long lengths of air tubing around the top of your bed. It could twist around your head
or neck while you are sleeping and lead to strangulation.
17. Make sure the environment around the machine is dry and clean. Dust and foreign particles may
affect the treatment. Keep the air inlet on the back of the machine clear to prevent overheating
and damage of the device. Do not place the machine near a source of hot or cold air. Extreme cold
or hot environment may damage the user's respiratory airway.
18. If there is a possibility of electro-magnetic interference with mobile phones, please increase the
distance between devices or turn off the mobile phone.
19. Do not connect the device to the personal computer for data downloading during the treatment.
This may cause the CPAP device failure.
20. U.S. Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a licensed physician.
21. Make sure the proper placement and positioning of the MASK on the face is critical to the
consistent operation of this equipment.
22. Medical electrical equipment needs special precautions regarding EMC and needs to be installed
according to EMC information. Contact your home care provider regarding EMC installation
information.
23. Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other equipment should be avoided because it
could result in improper operation. If such use is necessary, this equipment and the other
equipment should be observed to verify that they are operating normally.
24. Use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified or provided by the
manufacturer of this equipment could result in increased electromagnetic emissions or decreased
electromagnetic immunity of this equipment and result in improper operation.
25. Sources of oxygen must be located more than 1 m from the equipment to avoid the risk of fire and
burns.
26. Failure to use a mask or accessory that minimizes rebreathing of carbon dioxide or permits
spontaneous breathing can cause asphyxiation.

Ensure that the filter back cover is closed whenever any of the accessories are not installed.
3.
Do not use any extension cords with this device.

Make sure the filter area at the back of the device is not blocked and check and change the inlet
filter for each specific time (The detail as Chapter 5 Cleaning & Maintenance).

Do not install a wet filter into the device.
6.
Do not place the device directly onto carpet, fabric, or other flammable materials.
7.
Do not place the device in or on any container that can collect or hold water.
8.
Tobacco smoke may cause tar build-up within the device, which may result in the device
malfunctioning.
9.
Make sure that the DC power cord securely insert into your therapy device before using.
10. Only use APEX Medical Corp. approved DC Power Cord and Adapter. Use of any other system
