SYSTEM COMPONENTS
WATER TANK
Tank Construction: The 160 gallon (606L) capacity
tank is constructed of heavy duty chemical resistant
molded fiberglass. The tank is equipped with a deep
suction sump with anti–vortex plate.
Tank Lid: The lid is a 16" (41 cm) diameter, hinged
leak–proof cam–lock lid, to prevent leakage.
Strainer Basket: The strainer basket is a high impact
nylon strainer with a 40–mesh stainless steel screen.
The strainer should be kept in place at all times to prevent
leaves or other similar type debris from entering the tank.
Mounting:
The
tank
Turf–Truckster frame and is secured via the rear pin
disconnect brackets and two (2) front hold down clips.
Agitation: The tank has PTO driven triple paddle
agitation plus top bypass recirculation.
ACCUMULATOR
The Envirojet is equipped with a nitrogen charged
hydraulic accumulator (refer to Figure 1). This device is
mounted
on
the
control
accumulator shipped with the Envirojet is NOT charged
at the factory. The accumulator must be filled with
nitrogen before its first use, every two months, after 100
hours of use and after extended storage.
NOTICE
S
A charge kit (nitrogen fill kit, Part No. 894111) is
available or the accumulator may be taken to a
bottled gas dealer for filling.
!
WARNING
When charged, the accumulator maintains a
high pressure even when the Envirojet is shut
off or the unit is removed. DO NOT attempt to
disassemble the accumulator when charged, or
you and/or bystanders may be seriously injured.
The accumulator can be safely removed from
the control block while charged. Refer to
Parts/Service manual.

Operating the unit with a discharged accumulator will
cause immediate damage to the rubber bladder in
the accumulator. A very rapid pulse rate indicates
the accumulator is discharged.
A 30 cubic inch accumulator is standard. This
accumulator provides approximately 6 pulses per
second. If a faster pulse rate is desired, the 30 cubic inch
accumulator should be replaced with a 20 cubic inch
accumulator accessory (Part No. 894145). This will
increase the pulse rate by a factor of 1 1/4 times to 7 1/2
pulses per second. There is also a 1–quart (67 cubic
inch) accumulator available (Accessory Part No.
893942) for deeper penetration depths. The 1–quart
accumulator provides approximately 3 pulses per
second.
The sequencer is the large brass valve located on the
end of the control block (see Figure 2). The sequencer
is adjusted by using the hex adjustment screw and
locknut. Turning the adjustment screw clockwise
increases the injection pressure. Turning the adjustment

pressure. Initially set the hex adjustment screw by
tightening finger tight and then tighten an additional 2/3
revolution. Check the operating pulse pressure and
tighten as required (approximately 1/6 revolution) to
obtain the correct operating pressure (3500 PSI
maximum at gauge). When operating correctly the
sequencer emits a sharp "rapping" sound. Tighten the
lock nut.
