HYDRAULIC LIFT SYSTEM
The Envirojet utilizes the Turf–Truckster hydraulic
system to power the 2–way cylinder (located under the
engine frame) that lifts the deck. The cylinder rotates the
lift arm assembly which in turn raises the tow arms and
deck. Since the lift arm assembly is not connected to the
tow arms, the deck is free to float in the lowered position.
The independent lift arm assembly design also prevents
the operator from damaging the lock assembly if the
cylinder is inadvertently lowered while the deck is locked
up.
!
WARNING
BE SURE the cylinder is in the raised position
before releasing the deck lock. Forcing the lock
open with the cylinder lowered will cause the
deck to drop suddenly and could cause serious
injuries.

INJECTION PRESSURE GAUGE
The injection pressure gauge measures the high
pressure injection system pressure. The gauge has a
range from 0–6000 PSI and has a green band
designating the operating range. DO NOT operate the
unit in the red range, doing so can and will damage the
pump. The gauge needle will oscillate significantly due to
the pulsations of the unit. The system operating pressure
is the maximum pressure reached during oscillation. It
may be helpful to cover the low range of the needle
oscillation with your hand to focus on the peak reading.

CHOKE CONTROL
The choke control is used when cold starting the auxiliary
engine. Pull out on the choke control to activate the
choke. Start engine and depress choke control as engine
warms up.
IGNITION SWITCH
The ignition switch is used to start or stop the auxiliary
engine. Rotate the switch clockwise until engine starts,
then release key. Rotate the switch counterclockwise to
the "OFF" position to stop the engine. DO NOT run the
auxiliary engine without water in the tank.
HOUR METER
The hour meter records the number of hours the
Envirojet has been operated. The hour meter runs only
when the key switch is in the "ON" position. The hour
meter must be used in maintaining a comprehensive
maintenance program.
THROTTLE CONTROL
The throttle control is used to increase or decrease the
engine speed of the auxiliary engine. Moving the throttle
control forward will increase the engine speed. With the
throttle positioned rearward as far as possible, the
auxiliary engine will be at idle.
BYPASS VALVE
Rotating the bypass valve clockwise will place the unit
into the "Injection Mode" and pulsing will start. Rotating
the bypass valve counterclockwise (recirculation mode)
will cause the pulsing to cease during operation of the
Envirojet. The pump will continue to recirculate liquid
back to the tank.
CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY
The Envirojet high pressure system is designed with
chemical compatibility in mind. All components are
stainless steel, brass, or anodized aluminum. Hoses are
synthetic rubber and most seals are viton. The low
pressure side of the system utilizes a fiberglass tank,
brass and polypropylene fittings and nylon return hoses.

Chemicals can cause significant wear to components
resulting in increased maintenance costs and shortened
life of the product. Various liquid fertilizers, insecticides,
pesticides, fungicides, root stimulators and non
co–polymerized wetting agents, have been used
successfully in the Envirojet––moderate concentrations
