you should read and understand this Certificate and keep it throughout service life of the
equipment.
Please keep in mind that observance of the instructions in this Certificate extends the
service life of the equipment and prevents injury of operating personnel.
We hope our recommendations will facilitate operation of the equipment to the fullest.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
This section contains potential hazards that may arise during operation of the Sous Vide
Cooker, as well as important safety precautions.
1.
Tabletops made of marble and corian cannot withstand the heat generated by the
Cooker. To avoid damage, place the cooking container on a suitable surface.
2.
Do not use extension cords. Never use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
Use only grounded electrical outlets.
3.
Do not immerse the device deeper than the upper engraved mark on the stainless
steel cup. In the dishwasher, only a stainless steel cup and pump cover are allowed to
be washed. Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
4.
Beware of burns! The cooking container, a stainless steel part of the Sous Vide Cooker
and food bags are very hot during operation. Use kitchen gloves or tongs. Before
emptying the water bath, wait until the appliance cooled down.
5.
This device is a household appliance and should only be used for its intended purpose.
6.
Do not disassemble the device. Follow all warning labels. Do not remove warning
labels.
7.
Do not use the device for any purposes other than those provided in the Manual (for
example, for laboratory work or for heating a bath). Securely attach the device to the
container's side wall. Place the container on a flat surface to prevent spills and tipping
over. Do not place the appliance on a stove or oven.
8.
Do not use deionized water.
9.
Before connecting to a power outlet, check that your mains voltage corresponds to
the data indicated on the device nameplate.
10. Keep children away from the appliance. Keep the appliance and its electric cord out
of the reach of children.
11. Never use a damaged device. If the device is damaged, deliver it to an authorized
service center for inspection or repair.
12. The power cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the device must be
disposed.
13. Do not let the cord hang over the table edge or touch a hot surface.
14. Turn off the device and disconnect it from the power source before replacing
accessories or when staying near moving parts of the device during operation.
15. In the event of a power failure, the device may fail; in this case, you may need to
temporarily disconnect it from the power supply to resume normal operation.
16. Children 8 years and older are allowed to use the device, but only under the
supervision of adults and once they instructed in safe handling of the device and
understood the dangers associated therewith. Cleaning and maintenance at the user
level should not be carried out by children under 8 years old and without adult
