INTENDED USE
This equipment is intended for use in public catering and is used for the preparation of gourmet
foods with sous-vide technology.
SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE
Please read the following instructions and recommendations carefully before using for the
first time.
Use this device only for the purposes for which it is intended.
Do not use the device if the power cord is damaged.
Use only earthed wiring. Do not use extension cords.
Before removing the device from water, switch it off and unplug it from the mains.
Measure the water temperature only by reading the data on the display or using an external
thermometer. Never touch water with your hands.
After the use, carry the immersion thermostat with care, as some parts of the device may still
be hot.
After use, store the device in an upright position. This will prevent water from getting inside
the device.
If liquid gets into the top of the device, turn off the power and dry it before using it again.
Do not use the device near open flames or hot objects.
Before cleaning, make sure that the device is powered off and that its parts are cool enough
to touch.
To extend the life of the device, clean it after every 20 uses or after 100 hours of operation.
To clean the device, pour a dilute of water and acetic acid into the container. Next, start up
the device. Turn off the power after 20 minutes, disconnect the device from the mains and leave
the unit for a short while to let the thermostat cool down. Then, use the key to open the device
case and clean the filter. If the device is still hot, do not immerse it in cold water. Let it cool down
to room temperature first. These steps will extend the service life of your device.
Keep the device out of reach of children.
OPERATION
1. Selecting the appropriate container. Select the appropriate container for cooking. Make sure
the container is suitable to accommodate both the device and products. Maximum container
capacity is 40L.
2. Connecting the thermostat to the container. Place the device on the side of the container.
Use the adjustable hold-down device to secure the thermostat to the container. The hold-down
