How to Remove Rotor Knives:
The machine leaves the factory ready to
harvest with 12 knives. If you want to harvest
with 3, 4 or 6 knives, you must be aware of
the correct positioning during the removal
of the knives, according to the following
instructions.
The use of PPE (Personal Protective
E q u i p m e n t ) i s m a n d a t o r y d u r i n g
operation, maintenance and adjustment
of the machine. Wear suitable gloves and
eye protection. Take special care when
handling knives and counter knife, these
components have sharp areas that can
cause injury if handled without proper
protection and care.
To change the amount of rotor knives,
proceed as follows:
ATTENTION!
Turn off the tractor and remove
the ignition key before starting
the following procedure.
Remove the bolts (D) and (E);

Open the rotor cover (F);
2.
Remove the bolts that secure the knife
3.
to the rotor (K). Remove the knife and
the suport.
IMPORTANT!
• Where the knives were removed,
r e p l a c e t h e b o l t s ( D ) t h a t
secure the hub to the disc with:
Hex Bolt M16 X 50 MB 1.5 CL
10.9 RI .
• It is important to note that the knives
must be positioned in front of the
launchers (see the figures on the
next page).
