If the electrosurgical unit does not achieve the desired effect, al-
ways check the neutral electrode first. Make sure that the neutral
electrode has been correctly applied, that there is still skin con-
tact, and that the connection to the electrosurgical unit is correct
before you increase the power or the effect.

Repositioning the patient during surgery
WARNING! After changing a patient's position, make sure that
the neutral electrode is still affixed on the patient exactly as it
was beforehand (no slippage, no lifting from the skin, etc.).
4.10 Removing the neutral electrode
To remove the neutral electrode from the patient, firstly open the
connecting clamp on the neutral electrode cable. To avoid dam-
aging the neutral electrode, do not tug at the connector. Then,
open the fixation and remove the neutral electrode from the pa-
tient.
4.11 Precleaning the product in the procedure room
1. After use, remove major contaminants on the product with
faucet water as follows:
– Neutral electrode: by wiping with a damp cloth
– Fixation: by laying the fixation in faucet water
