9 . DVB-T Function Operations
I. Switch on
Press the power switch (hardware) to turn on the TV set, and the boot screen will be
displayed. DVD or DVB mode will be selected by the setting of last time when it's shut off. If
it is DVD, the system will start reading disk and judge whether there is one in the set. When
there is a disk, it will read and enter play mode, and then the user may operate by the
guiding of DVD remote control keys. When DVB mode is entered, the system will play by
default the program of the channel of last time when it's shut off. By default, the UI interface
is in English, and the user may operate by the guiding of DVD remote control keys. If there
wasn't any channel selected last time when it's turned off or this is the first time the system
is turned on, the options of "initial use installation" will be popped up to enable the initial
settings by the user. Please refer to the detailed introductions of relevant operations.
Introduction on initial use installation
Chart(7), (8) and (9) are for reference of t his operation. The system will first ask the user
whether installation of initial use is needed. Press "YES" to go on, "NO" to exit initial use
installation interface. In Chart (8), it shows how to select country/area, OSD language by the
direction keys. After this setting, select "NEXT" to enter Chart (9), "BACK" to go back to
Chart (8). In Chart (9), the system asks whether to begin auto scan channels. Select "YES "
to enter Chart (10), and the system to begin auto scanning. Scanning results will be saved
after completion and the first channel will be played. Select "NO" to give up auto scan
channels and exit initial use installation menu, and "BACK" to return to Chart (8) interface.
