Fitting instructions

The fitting instructions in pictures can be found
in the front cover (2) of the brochure.

To put on the orthosis, open all Velcro fasteners and place
your forearm in the splint. Move your fingers and thumb
carefully until your hand has reached an optimum position.

First close the Velcro tape around your wrist, then the
Velcro tapes around your finger and thumb, and finally the
Velcro tape for the forearm. Please ensure that the product
is secure but not too tight, in order to prevent pinching.

The additional strap available for the back of the
hand can also be fastened. The padding should cov-
er the entire surface of the back of the hand. Pass
the Velcro tape around your hand and fasten it by
pulling it through the eyelet and then closing it.
The Dynamics carpal orthosis provides
optimum immobilisation of the wrist and
hand. The finger support keeps the hand in
a functional position so that physiotherapy
exercises can be carried out while wearing
the orthosis. The open design allows for
the orthosis to be easily put on and taken
off, thus simplifying personal hygiene and
wound treatment easier.
Please note
– T he initial fitting and positioning of the product as well
as training in its proper, safe use should take place by
trained medical/orthopaedic specialists.
– The product should be used only for the applications
shown in the adjacent column.
– Before each use, check that the product is working
properly and check it for wear and damage, and
ensure that it is fitted correctly. If the product is dam-
aged, it should no longer be used.
– Wear the product directly on your skin. It may only be
worn on intact skin. If it has to be worn in combina-
tion with other products, then please discuss this in
advance with your doctor.
– Unless otherwise prescribed, the product should be
removed before resting for longer periods (e.g. whilst
sleeping).
– If you experience an unpleasant sensation, intense pain
or any other problem when wearing the product, then
remove it and contact your doctor or specialist supplier.
– We use a comprehensive quality management
system to check our products. However, should there
still be reason for complaint, please contact your
specialist supplier.
