Directions for Use
Warning:
This item should only be installed or uninstalled by a
qualified electrician.
Make sure that the lamp is not connected to the mains
supply during installation. No liability can be assumed
for damage resulting from improper installation.
Mounting:

For the cable entry drill a 10 mm hole into the surface
of your choice (normal flame resistance). Run the
cable first through the upper part of the pull-relief,
next through the 10 mm hole and then through the
bottom part of the pull relief.

Screw off the outer ring of the lamp holder by pressing
the metal retention pin on the inside (e.g. with a pen
or a screwdriver). Now you can take out the inner part
of the lamp holder.

Take the upper part of the lamp holder and pull the
power cable through the openings. Pull the white
insulating tubes over the cable ends. Next insert the
cable ends into the electrical contacts in the ceramic
bulb holder and fasten the screws using a screwdriver.

Screw the ring of the lamp holder on again. Check
that the inner part of the lamp holder is in the correct
position. The metal retention pin has to snap in and
the cable must not be twisted. Screw the parts of the
pull relief together tightly so that the hole is covered.
The lamp holder can be hung from the cable. For
extra security we recommend an additional chain
fastened to a hook.

Operating Conditions:

• The device may only be operated at 230 V, 50/60 Hz
AC voltage.
• The permitted ambient temperature of 45 °C must
not be exceeded during operation.
• The device is designed for use in dry areas.
• Ensure an acclimatisation period of up to 2 hours
if condensation occurs.
• Protect the device from moisture and water
splashes!
• Do not operate the device in areas in which flam-
mable gases or vapours may exist.

This device is for indoor use only. All bulbs listed in
this manual can be used (see the section 'Suitable
