EN
Avoid touching the exhaust while it's
hot. Allow the engine to cool before
transporting the pump or the store.
To prevent fire, keep the pump away
from walls and other appliances
about 1 meter during operation. Do
not place flammable objects close
to the engine.
CARBON mONOXIdE POI-
sONING (CO)
The exhaust gases contain carbon
monoxide. Avoid inhalation of
exhaust gases. Never operate the
pump in a garage or confined area.
CHECK BEFORE
tHE tRANsACtION
Make sure that the fluid you are
pumping is correct. This pump is
designed to pump only water unfit
for human consumption.
For your safety and to maximize the
life of the equipment, it is very im-
portant to spend some time check-
ing their status before using. Make
sure that any detected problem was
solved before putting the pump.
An improper maintenance or failure
to correct a potential problem
before the operation may cause a
malfunction in which the user can
get seriously injured.
Also perform pre-inspection before
each operation, and correct any
problems detected.
Before starting the pre-inspection,
make sure that the pump is on a
level surface and that the ignition
switch is in the OFF position.

CHECK tHE stAtE GEN-
ERAl PUmP
For signs of leaking oil or fuel
around the pump. Remove any
excess dirt will especially around
the exhaust system and boot.
Look for any damage to the pump.
Make sure that all nuts, bolts,
clamps and hoses are properly
fastened.
CHECK tHE VACUUm HOsE
ANd dIsCHARGE
Check the condition of hoses.
Make sure that they are in a proper
state service before the pump will
turn on. The suction tube must be
strengthened so as to prevent its
collapse during operation.
Make sure that the sealing washer is
in good condition.
Make sure that the fittings and
hoses are installed.
Make sure that the filter is in good
condition and installed in the suc-
tion hose.
CHECK tHE OIl lEVEl
Check the oil level with the engine
stopped and the pump in a level
position.
1. Remove the cap / dipstick and
wipe it.
2. Insert and remove the dipstick
without screwing into the hole.
Check the oil level shown on the
dipstick.
3. If the oil level is low, fill crank-
case with the recommended oil level
reaches the edge of the hole.
4. Tighten the cap / dipstick
securely.
Operating the pump with oil level
lower than indicated may cause
engine damage.
INsPECtION OF tHE AIR
FIltER
A dirty air filter will restrict air flow
to the carburetor, reducing the mo-
tor efficiency and pump.
Remove the cover and inspect the
air filter. Clean or replace the filter
elements. Always replace damaged
filter elements.
Replace the filter and cover. Make
sure that all components are cor-
rectly positioned. Tighten the nut
firmly.
NOTE: pump operating without
air filter or damaged this will allow
the entry of dirt into the engine.
This will cause rapid engine wear.
This type of damage is not covered
under warranty.
CHECK tHE FUEl lEVEl
With the engine stopped and the
pump on a level surface, remove the
fuel tank cap and check the level.
Refill the tank if the level is low.
After refueling, tighten the fuel tank
cap securely.
NOtE: Do not fill the fuel tank
above the fuel filter (maximum fuel).
