THE AIR HOSE

The air hose is 12 feet long (3.66m) and should be sterilized prior to use. Before the air hose is
connected to the hand piece, make sure the green gasket is between the air hose and the hand
piece. Without the green gasket, the dermatome will not work properly. The air hose should then be
connected to the air supply. This dermatome operates on hospital grade air at 90 PSI Nitrogen. The air
supply must also be equipped with a filter to avoid particles getting in the motor of the dermatome.
