TRANSLATION OF THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: BEFORE USING THE ELECTRIC POWER TOOL PLEASE READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY AND RETAIN
IT FOR FURTHER REFERENCE.
When sanding wood and metal surfaces coated with coating such as paints with lead additives, harmful or
toxic dust may be released. Contact or inhalation of such dust may endanger operator's or other persons'
health. Use appropriate personal protection measures such as filter masks or safety glasses. Use dust
extraction system.
PRIOR TO OPERATING THE SANDER
During operation hold the sander firmly with both hands.
Make sure that the abrasive paper does not touch the material to be processed prior to switching the
sander on.
Make sure that the abrasive paper is firmly installed and that paper clamping levers are in locking
position before switching the sander on.
Do not touch moving parts of the sander.
After switching the sander off, never put it away until all moving parts stop.
Use protective mask if dust gets released during sanding. Dust, which gets released when sanding
surfaces coated with lead-based paint, some types of wood and metal, is harmful to health.
Pregnant women and children should not enter the room/premises where lead-based paint is removed
with the use of sander.
Do not eat, drink or smoke in the room where lead-based paint is removed with the sander.
Avoid using long extension cords.
WHEN OPERATING THE SANDER
When operating the sander, always wear earmuff protectors and protection half-mask.
The sander is not designed for wet operation.
Make sure that the switch is in OFF position before plugging the sander to power supply.
Keep the power cord away from moving parts of the sander.
Use safety goggles or glasses when operating the sander above head.
When operating the sander do not apply excessive pressure that might stop the tool.
CAUTION! The tool is designed for interior use.
Despite using design that is inherently safe, using safeguards and additional protective measures,
there is always a residual risk of injury during operating the device.
DESIGN AND INTENDED USE
Finishing sanders are manually operated power tools featuring electrical insulation class II. The devices
are driven by a single-phase commutator motor. Finishing sander is designed for sanding and polishing of
wood, metal and plastic surfaces or surfaces made with similar materials, using abrasive paper of relevant
grit size. By using different shapes of backing pads it enables access to nearly inaccessible places. The range
of use of finishing sanders includes repair and building works as well as any DIY activities.
Never use the sander for sanding surfaces that contain magnesium, asbestos or surfaces covered
with gypsum.
