CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the deep fryer to cool com-
pletely, without opening the lid.
2. After cooling, using both brackets on the container, remove it from the deep fryer.
(Fig. E)
3. If you plan to reuse the fat, it is recommended to pour it through a sieve to remove any re-
mains of prepared food. Then tightly close the box with fat and keep it away from heat and
direct light.
4. Clean the container and the basket with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry thor-
oughly. Do not use wire cloth or abrasive cleaners to clean the container or the base. The
basket can be washed in the dishwasher.
5. Never immerse the fryer base in water or other liquid, nor wash in the dishwasher. Wipe with
a damp cloth only.
6. After each use, wipe from the lid from inside with a damp cloth. To clean it more accurately,
you must pick it up to the raised position (Fig. F). Press the release latch located on the filter
cover (Fig. G) and remove the filter. Wash off with warm water and soap. Do not wash the
filter cover parts in the dishwasher.
CAUTION! Always remove the filter cover before immersion in water.
7. Always make sure that the lid gasket has been cleaned and dried to prevent sticking it to the
base of the deep fryer. Replace the gasket after hardening, softening, deformation, fracture,
wiping or puncturing.
CHANGING THE FILTER:
Carbon filter in the deep fryer lid helps to absorb odour. After about 10 to 15 uses, the filter
needs to be replaced.
USEFUL TIPS
● Using the deep fryer for the first time, you can meet with a slight odour or a mild smoke. This
is normal.
● You should fry products of equal size or thickness, as this will allow more even frying at the
same time.
● Do not fill the basket in more than two thirds. If you fry more components, they will not be brittle.
● Fish, vegetables and meat shall be coated in breadcrumbs before frying.
● Use only metal cutlery, as plastic or rubber will break down in hot oil! Do not leave cutlery in
the deep fryer!
● After each use, filter oil using a double-thick cheesecloth to remove food residues.
