2. If you are using a printer, plug the printer cable into the printer and then into
the COM 1 port on the back of the SNAPshot DSR Reader. Plug one end of the
printer's power cord into the power pack and the other end into the printer. Plug
the power pack into an AC/DC-grounded outlet.
NOTE: A printer is required for NCIMS testing.
NOTE: If you are using a printer from an existing SNAPshot Reader or a printer
that was not purchased from IDEXX, refer to the settings section for instructions.
3. Plug one end of the reader's power cord into the power pack and the other end
into the SNAPshot DSR Reader. Plug the power pack into an AC-grounded outlet.
IMPORTANT: Only use the power pack supplied with the
SNAPshot DSR Reader.
4. The SNAPshot DSR screen appears on the SNAPshot DSR Reader for
approximately 30 seconds.
5. When the SNAPshot DSR "Language Selector" screen appears tap
anywhere on the screen within a few seconds.
NOTE: If you do not tap the screen immediately, the language will
default to English. To select a different language, press the power
button on the front of the SNAPshot DSR Reader to restart the
instrument.
6. The Select Language screen appears. Tap the language option that
you want to use.

7. All subsequent screens will display in that language and it will be the default
language each time the reader is turned on.
To switch to a different language at a later date, press the power button on the
front of the reader. The SNAPshot DSR splash screen appears. Tap the Language
Selector text anywhere on the screen and then select the desired language.
NOTE: This screen is only displayed for a few seconds so be sure to tap it
immediately after it appears.
8. The Main screen appears. It includes the Read Test button and
the Utilities button.
TIP: The title bar of each screen displays the menu name, date
and time.
