Final controls
After completing all coupling operations, it is necessary
to check that the axial positioning is correct; there must
be a 3mm axial play in its housing.

Do not lift the genset (prime mover engine + alterna-
tor) from the alternator hoist ring; this one should be
used only and exclusively to lift the alternator.
The load cables connection should be carried out by
qualified personnel when the machine is at a complete
standstill and disconnected from the load.
Output Voltage and frequency
These alternators are designed to exclusively supply the voltage and
frequency specified on the rating plate.

5. SINGLE-PHASE DUTY OF THREE-PHASE ALTERNATORS (SLT-PRO)
The continuous duty, single-phase output power is
approximately 65% of the three-phase rated output
power when using phase-to-phase voltage (DELTA
CONNECTION) and 40% when using phase voltage (STAR
CONNECTION).

Operation in particular settings
If the alternator is going to be used as part of a soundproof generating set, make
sure that only fresh air circulate in the alternator.
