FRAGMA
ARM sUPPORT FLANGE INsTALLATION (Fig. 4)
1.
To facilitate insertion of the arm support flange in the motor shaft, loosen the 4 screws securing the motor to the barrier body.
2.
Insert the arm support flange in a vertical position with the end section to the right, as viewed from the exterior, with the square holes on the upper
section. Secure the motor shaft by means of the M6x60 screw supplied.
ARM INsTALLATION (Fig. 5)
1.
Fit and secure the arm using the nuts and washers supplied (Note: the 4m arm and the articulated arm require spring type ZBNM).
2.
Release the gearmotor by rotating the release lever anti-clockwise.
3.
Move the arm to a vertical position and check adjustment of the M12x40 screw to set the required opening.
N.B. If the installation requires a shorter arm, cut the end section and move the closure cap as required.
4.
Lock the gearmotor by rotating the release lever clockwise.
MANUAL RELEAsE (Fig. 6)
Release exclusively when the motor is stationary.
To access the manual release, open the cover and door of the barrier. To release the motor, rotate the plastic lever anti-clockwise until the release position
is reached.
IMPORTANT! The arm is not balanced and must be guided manually.
INvERTING THE DIRECTION OF OPENING
To convert barrier opening from LEFT to RIGHT, proceed as follows:
1.
Insert the arm support flange with the end section to the left, as viewed from the exterior. To facilitate insertion of the flange, loosen the 4 screws
of the motor. Secure the flange by means of the M6x60 screw supplied.
2.
Release the gearmotor by rotating the release lever anti-clockwise.
3.
Remove the M6x20 screw fixing the balancer and rotate through 90°. Secure the balancer to the motor shaft by means of the M6x20 screw sup-
plied.
4.
Invert the adjustment of the M12x40 limiter screws and set to obtain the required opening/closing.
5.
Lock the gearmotor by rotating the release lever clockwise.
ELECTRICAL INsTALLATION (FIG. 7, 8)
All cables and controls are powered at 12 Vdc by means of a safety transformer with double insulation. The mains voltage input is protected by means of a
4 A fuse; loads with a 16 A fuse (F1) and accessories and controls with a 3.15A fuse (F2).
For motor and encoder wiring, use the ELVOX, 2x2 mm
In the case of installations with two combined barriers, use the ELVOX cable type ZX23 (in 30m coils) for connection of the two motors.
For cables of more than 15 m in length, use the two 4mm
sories, follow the instructions in the wiring diagram.
ELECTRONIC CARD EC30
THE electronic card, Art. EC30, is suited to control an actuator for barrier, ZBN series, with a 12 Vdc motor.
This card has high quality standards and is equipped with a gate movement control system with an ENCODER to ensure conformity with the requirements
of the directives on electromagnetic compatibility, CE marking and current safety standards. The gate is opened/closed by it slowing down, its speed and the
amperometric consumption of the motor are constantly monitored, and the motion is reversed if there is an obstruction.
ELECTRICAL INsTALLATION
The control unit EC30 is powered at 230 V (117 V for the /117 version and 240V for the /240V version), the mains voltage is protected by a 4 A fuse. The
board is powered with 12 Vac via a safety transformer with double insulation (EN61558).
The actuators and controls are powered with 12 Vdc and the outputs are protected by two fuses: a 15 A fuse (F1) for the actuators and a 3.15 A fuse (F2)
for the accessories. Operating temperature -20 to +55°C.
Being a low-voltage board, the metal structures connected to it must not be earthed since the power supply is SELV isolated.
For cables of more than 15 metres in length, use 2x4mm
