Moving an M300 patient from one room
(viewport) to a different room (viewport)
A new Question dialog box displays when you
move an M300 patient to a new room (viewport).
For viewports on the same ICS, the dialog box con-
tains the following buttons:
– Cancel
– Move – moves the M300 patient to the new
viewport, and then discharges the patient from
the original viewport.
– Admit – discharges the M300 patient from the
original viewport and admits them as a new pa-
tient to the new viewport.
NOTE
For patients on two different ICS systems, the
Question dialog box only contains a Cancel but-
ton and a Move button.
Arrhythmia processing
Arrhythmias are identified using an internal detec-
tion process. This process does the following:
– filters out ECG signal irregularities,
– detects the beat pattern,
– classifies the beat pattern, and
– detects the rhythm.
8
System alarm delay: < 1s
Based on this detection process, arrhythmias and
other associated events are reported in the follow-
ing order of severity:
1 Asystole
2 VF (ventricular fibrillation)
3 VTACH (ventricular tachycardia)
4 RUN (ventricular run)
5 AIVR (accelerated idioventricular rhythm)
6 SVT (supraventricular tachycardia)
7 CPT (ventricular couplet)
8 BGM (bigeminy)
9 TACH (sinus tachycardia)
10 BRADY (sinus bradycardia)
11 PAUSE (user selectable interval)
12 ARTF (artifact, background rhythm)
NOTE
Except for asystole and ventricular fibrillation
events, no other arrhythmia events appear in the
trends of any ICS equipped with software version
VG1.
