Instruction manual:
Now that the BigQube has been burned in by you, it is ready for use. You now layer - as described
under „Before the first start-up" - dry wood on the ash tray and ignite it. Due to the excellent ventilation
of the BigQube, it is ready for use after 15-20 minutes.
Competitor products need about 45 min.
Now oil the plate with sunflower or rapeseed oil and the grilling pleasure can begin.
SAFETY AND WARNING NOTICE 2:
The BigQube becomes very hot! Especially the inner edge of the grill plate / plancha reaches
up to 350°C of heat. The further „out", the lower the temperature. However, depending on the
distribution of the embers, the amount and type of wood, also the outer edge of the plate is up
to 200°C hot!
The BigQube is suitable for all foods (from any meat to fish, vegetables, sauces, egg, etc.).
Different temperature zones can be used wisely by you. The closer you place your food to the inner
edge of the plate, the hotter it is there. Towards the outside, the temperature decreases steadily. By
selectively moving the embers to the outer edge of the ash tray, you can also achieve a higher tempe -
rature on the plate/plancha.
When the grilling process is finished, let the fire go out naturally. On warm summer nights, the BigQube
still serves as a source of light and heat and creates a great atmosphere. If you want to extinguish the
fire quickly, please tip water carefully into the embers.
This will not damage the BigQube. However, this will result in stronger smoke development and water
colored with ash can escape from the openings of the tub.
