All panels have a check lamp for:
• Pre-heating 4
and a warning lamp for:
• Low oil pressure
• High coolant temperature
• High exhaust temperature
• Battery charging current
• Low oil pressure gearbox
All panels have an audible alarm signal.
Panel MP34 is available as 12 Volt or 24 Volt model, all other
panels as 12 Volt only.
All panels can be used as first and only panel, or as a second

panel.

N.B.: When the alarm goes off, the skipper should decide
whether to stop the engine or reduce engine speed. A system
which automatically stops the engine when the alarm is trig-
gered, is not recommended for propulsion engines. Dangerous
situations could be created under certain circumstances if the
engine stops suddenly.
Panel location
Always install the panel in a position where the skipper can see
it easily.
The engine panel can be installed outside, but the waterproof
cover supplied (for the key lock) must be installed. This pre-
vents water, salt and dirt entering the lock when the key is
removed. If a protective housing is fitted over the whole panel,
it is not necessary to install the waterproof lock cover.
When the engine
panel is mounted
low in the cockpit,
install it in such a
way (see drawing)
that the key cannot
be damaged, by
feet, for example.
Take care that the engine panel is waterproof only on the oper-
ating side. The back of the panel should be installed in a well-
protected and ventilated space. Do not install the panel where
serious vibration can occur.
