Introduction

General Description

The
Enerpac
QuickFace
flange
facer
designed
flanges.
The
QuickFace
15 lb (6.8 kg) and is manually driven. The QuickFace has
2.8 in. (71.1 mm) of travel, mounts in diameters from
0.96 – 6.21 in. (24.4 – 157.7 mm), and faces diameters
from 0.96 – 12.0 in. (24.4 – 304.8 mm). Figure 1 shows
the clearance required to operate the QuickFace.

Components

Mandrel Assembly

The mandrel assembly consists of all the parts used
to secure the QuickFace in the work piece. Adjustable
locators and stackable locator extensions are used to
secure the QuickFace in place. An O-ring is used to
secure the locators to the mandrel (see Figure 2).

1 - Adjustable Locator
The mandrel locking knob is used to tighten the
locators inside the work piece ID (see Figure 3). As
the locking knob is turned clockwise, it pulls on an
expanding shaft which forces the locators out, pushing
against the ID of the work piece.
